How do I get the junk off my nails that they put on??Two weeks ago, I went into a nail salon to get a french manicure....?
Nail polish remover :)Two weeks ago, I went into a nail salon to get a french manicure....?
Now,I have two ways I can tell you to do this. I am assuming that when you say ';junk'; you are meaning the acrylic with which they molded your nail. I'm sure you already know how to remove polish.

Anyway, the first way, and this is the safest way, is to buy a bottle of acetone from your local beauty supply store, pour some in a bowl that is big enough for both of your hands to fit and immerse your fingertips in this for a while (15-20 mins.) depending on how strong the acetone is. In the nail shops, they will usually put the soaking bowl inside a bigger bowl which is filled with very warm water which seems to speed up the process. After about 5-7 mins, start trying to peel/pry off the acrylic with a nail clipper or something thin that can actually get between your nail and the acrylic. Just repeat this process until you get that stuff off.

The other way, the ';ghetto'; way, does not take a long time, but it can hurt like hell. Sometimes blood is involved. Just kidding. Just put your finger tip in your mouth, bite down just enough to apply pressure that will make a little crack in the acrylic and pry it off with a nail clipper. If you have a low tolerance for pain, then I would go with the first way.

Oh, and when you get them off, your real finger nails, or whatever is left of them, will be really raggedy and thin, so be prepared and have some Sally Hansen's Hard As Nails to build the nail strength back up. Now, of course, if you are allergic to any of this stuff, please don't try it. Good Luck!

P.S. You could just go back to the shop and have them take it off, but that would cost a few bucks.
With nail polish remover...what kind of stuff did they put on it?
Use Acetone. You can find it at your local beauty supply store.
